We are pleased to announce that there will be an IGVA (Independent Gender Violence Advocate) located in 4 Lewisham general practices starting from March 2024 for a period of 6 months.
This role is being jointly commissioned by the SEL ICB and Lewisham Local Authority. The function of the IGVA is to support all primary care clinicians and other primary care staff in understanding the dynamics of domestic abuse and the referral pathways into Athena, the clinical commissioned branch of Refuge Lewisham.
