I joined Woolstone Medical Centre in 2011 and became a partner at the practice in April 2013. Since being here I have set up a coil service in the practice.
I feel that we should offer good long-term co-ordinated care and I am keen to enlist patients’ opinions and views. We have a practice participation group, which aims to bring about change driven by our patients. I feel it is also important to be aware of local and national changes and as a result attend the neighbourhood four commissioning group.
I teach medical students and F2 doctors and feel strongly that the practice should aim to have a teaching role to help the next generation of doctors.
Specialist Interests: As well as general practice Dr Zimmermann has specialist interests in women’s health, contraceptive implants, coils and teaching

I joined Woolstone Medical Centre in 2014 and have been a GP Partner since April 2018. I have an interest in diabetes, dementia care and elderly medicine.
I have focused on improving diabetic care in practice with end of year of care ( YOC) planning. I am also involved in research activities and training F2 doctors in the practice.
